Guidelines and Eligibility
To be eligible for a Halton Hills Chamber of Commerce 45th Annual Business Excellence Awards the following general criteria must be met:
- Nominations must be for a business / not for profit organization which either resides in, operates in, or has a notable community/business presence within Halton Hills, and/or is a Halton Hills Chamber of Commerce member in good standing.
- Nominees are eligible for nomination in as many categories as applicable. Self-nominations are permitted. Only one nomination per category is needed.
- Award recipients from the previous three years (2021, 2022, 2023) may not receive the award in the same category (if applicable) for 2024, but can be nominated and win in other categories. For the Business of the Year categories, awards recipients must wait 10 years before becoming eligible again and must be an HHCC member. Click here to check if a business is a member.
- The Halton Hills Chamber of Commerce reserves the right to change the nomination category, if an organization or individual is nominated in an ineligible or incorrect category.
- Recipients are determined by independent judges. The judges' decisions will be based upon the nominee's answers to a short series of questions designed to showcase how the nominee exemplifies the award criteria.
- To be selected, the nominee has to meet or excel in the qualifications required in the category for which they were nominated.
