Judging Process

The judging panel is made up of independent Chamber professionals from outside Halton Hills, bringing a wide range of experience and perspective. For certain categories, past winners of that same award are also invited to join the panel, ensuring that both professional expertise and lived experience are reflected in the process.

Each judge independently reviews and scores submissions against the published criteria. An online rating system compiles these scores to determine the winners in each category.

The Halton Hills Chamber of Commerce staff manage the logistics of the judging process, but neither staff nor the Board have any role in evaluating submissions or selecting nominees, finalists, or winners.

All entries are scored anonymously, based on the judging criteria listed with each category description.

The Halton Hills Chamber of Commerce staff coordinate the logistics of the judging process, but neither they or the Board are in any way involved in selecting nominees or finalists or winners.
