Step 1: Create Your Account

Click here to create your account.

Complete your name, contact information, email address, and password. Once registered, you will automatically be logged in.

Step 2: Start Your Submission

1. Click Start a New Entry

2. Select the category you were nominated for

3. Enter a title for your submission
         Business categories: Use your business name
         Home Town Hero or Employee of the Year: Use the nominee's name

4. Click Start

Be sure to read the rules, regulations, and eligibility requirements.  

Step 3: Complete Your Application

Fill out all required questions and upload any supporting materials.

Helpful tip: Judges often prefer concise, specific responses that clearly highlight accomplishments, impact, and results. Where possible, include measurable outcomes and examples.

How long will it take? Most applicants can complete their submission in approximately 25-45 minutes, depending on the category and the amount of detail provided. 

You don't have to finish everything at once. Click Save at any time and return later.

Step 4: Review and Update

Select View Submissions from the menu to:

- Review your application

- Edit your answers

- Upload or replace photos

- Make changes before the deadline

Submission Deadline

September 4, 2026 at 11:59 PM

Applications can be edited until the deadline. After that time, submissions become read-only.

Step 5: Mark Your Submission as Final

Important: Your application will only be reviewed by the judges once it has been marked as Final.

Any entry not declared Final before the deadline will not be eligible for judging.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need special software?

No. The Awards Portal is entirely web-based and can be accessed from a phone, tablet, laptop, or desktop computer.

How is my information protected?

Your information is protected using industry-standard security measures, and the system is backed up regularly.

Will nominees be contacted?

Yes. Once a nomination is received, nominees are automatically notified and invited to submit an application.
